Standing Ovation for Frances Bray

BirdLife Shoalhaven has just held a very successful ‘Celebration of Lake Wollumboola’ event with 140 people in attendance. Highlight was the presentation of the Distinguished Service Award to Frances Bray, KBA Guardian for lake Wollumboola. All three levels of government were in the hall and a Jerrinja elder spoke on the Aboriginal cultural importance of the Lake. Frances talked about the on-going campaign and BirdLife Shoalhaven President Rob Dunn presented on the birds of Lake Wollumboola KBA.
