KBA Workshop Gluepot SA
Book your spot here https://gluepotkbaworkshop.eventbrite.com.au
Meet Dr Golo Maurer from BirdLife Australia and learn how your skills -whatever they may be- can power the global Key Biodiversity Area (KBA) program in Australia. The KBA program is linked to United Nations conservation initiatives and aims to identify and protect the world’s most important sites for wildlife. Its success depends on local communities to fill it with life. This workshop will get you up to speed to do just that for one of South Australia’s 39 KBAs. You will receive training in KBA-Health-checks, Bird Monitoring and a wealth of knowledge about KBAs that will come in very handy for conservation advocacy: in short you will be all set to join BirdLife Australia's network of KBA-Guardians.
As a bonus you will get to enjoy BirdLife Australia’s wonderful Gluepot Reserve (itself part of a KBA) at the best time of year to soak up the Mallee!
